Malaysian Palm Oil Wildlife Conservation Fund (MPOWCF)
palm oil futures prices on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher
yesterday amid an uptrend in soyabean prices and a weaker US dollar.
October 2010 contract rose RM30 to RM2,745 a tonne, while November
2010 gained RM27 to RM2,729, December 2010 added RM25 to RM2,730 and
January 2011 increased RM33 to RM2,736.
Volume eased to 11,657 lots from 12,851 on Tuesday, while open interest rose to 71,393 contracts from 69,299.
On the physical market, October South gained RM30 to RM2,750.
