10 Good Reasons Why You Should Fry Your Foods in Palm Oil

Palm oil is one of the most stable among the commonly traded edible oil. It does not breakdown and deteriorate easily producing by-products of frying which are undesirable for human consumption.
Palm oil brings out the natural taste of fried foods. This is due to its neutral bland taste. It is odourless and it helps carry the natural flavour of your food without imparting any taste of its own.
Food fried in palm oil produces good consistent texture due to its inherent stability, which in turn produces less byproducts of oil break down which are responsible for increased oil absorbtion resulting in poor texture.

As a stable frying oil, palm oil does not require any partial hydrogenation thus is always free of trans faty acid. Polyunsaturated oils such as soybean or sunflower oils  need to be partially hydrogenated to improve their frying performance and shelf life.
Palm oil is as natural as you can get. It is a non GMO oil which is free of cholesterol and contains appreciable levels of natural antioxidants including tocopherols and tocotrienols.
Palm oil is of plant origin, thus halal and it has been adopted by CODEX Alimentarious (international food standard agency) as one of the major edible oil used globally.  It is therefore considered safe for human consumption.
Palm oil is nutritionally balanced and it is also unique due to its balanced fatty acid profile. Saturated fatty acids equal the unsaturated fatty acid.
